Handling employee removal and termination

Our Security Guard Service handles the situation with the employee and removes the risk of exposing the management or other staff to abusive, threating actions of the recently dismissed employee.

Employee accused or suspected of fraud, breach of contract, assault, worksite bullying and threats, will be removed by force if need be by our Licenced Security Officers.

The difficult decision by a manager is to dismiss an employee, but when the other employees, the service and integrity of the business are at risk you must act now.

Understanding that the terms “termination” and “removal” do not mean the same thing.

Removal is when an employee is separated as a result of adverse action procedures, because of problems such as poor performance, misconduct or has become a security risk. Removals also extend to cases involving special circumstances, such as furlough or medical inability.

Termination is attached to decisions involving probationary or trial-period employees, temporarily appointed employees, and employees removed due to background investigation determinations of negative suitability.

Protection of you and your staff from harm, abuse and threats is paramount, the ramifications of staff feeling unsafe or threatened could lead to Workcover claims and civil proceedings.
