STAFF TIME MANAGEMENT

Managing our Security staff is made simple with the use of smart technology on staff’s mobile phones. We are able to check on the Guards 24/7, this app also enables us to do payroll through the data received at the end of each working week. This app also provides the client satisfaction that the guard was physically on-site between the scheduled times with the GPS location tagging. Lone workers also need to check in every 30 minutes with the app, this notifies the operations manager that the guard is safe and that they are still on site. Ad hoc jobs also require photo evidence of before and after site checks.

STAFF ONBOARDING

As new guards come on board with us, we ensure they spend their first shift on a buddy shift. This is with another guard who has worked for us for many many years, that has a great understanding of policy and procedure, as well as the levels of service we offer. Once all the boxes have been ticked and competency has been confirmed to be an acceptable level then we start finding them the full-time position with a suitable client.

NO SPLATTER EFFECT

The ‘Splatter Effect’ is known for when companies just send whatever is on the books for Sub Contract work. This is unacceptable due to the client, not having the flexibility of assurance that they are getting someone suitable for the job, or a guard that has the skill sets required for the client’s needs. Currently seen on recent media, with the COVID19 quarantine debacle, we are not part of that, we do not want to be part of any splatter effect type of security guard services.

Car pollution is one of the major causes of global warming. Victoria’s Security patrol vehicles each year emit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, which contribute to the total global warming pollution issues. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, which causes worldwide temperatures to rise. What we aim to change in 2021 and 2022 as part of our participation to change the mindset is by introducing Plug-in Electric Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV) Patrol vehicles and Electric Tesla Patrol Vehicles. Clients that are like-minded can select the option of our Environmental responsible mobile patrols and services. Understandably these options may come at a slightly higher, cost but the rewards of knowing that our pollution emissions whilst carrying out patrols are zero emissions.
